Yost Improves to 6-1
This Month's featured fighter Dave "Pay Me" Yost was victorious on November 22 to improve his record to 6-1. Yost defeated the strong national grappling champion Brian Fuery in the first round via TKO from strikes. Fuery seemed to dominate the fight putting Yost in many submission attempts, but Yost yet again found a way to escape and at one point jumped off the cage to thwart a submission. Once he was able to stop Fuery's attempt at submissions, he forced the former Miami football player to play his game on the feet. Yost landed a devastating uppercut that stunned Fuery and finished him off on the feet as Fuery was not prepared to take that type of punishment. Yost improved his record to 6-1 with his only loss coming by injury. With the win it puts Yost in prime contention for the AOF Heavyweight Title which will be awarded sometime in 2010.
