Mark Serkez has won "Knockout of the Night" and "Fight of the Night" honors in his last two AOF appearances. In Serkez's last fight at the USF Sun Dome on August 22, 2009 he took a fight against the taller and heavier "Freak" Corey Krebs. Bad blood aside, Serkez took the fight to Krebs attacking the taller opponent with an altered striking style. After a large cut on Serkez's head nearly stopped the fight, Serkez wasted no time in going after the KO and he earned it late into the first round. Then in October 2009 at Art of Fighting 5 at Robarts Arena in Sarasota, Serkez was slated to fight in his middleweight division against a tough opponent in Ryan Hodge. Serkez escaped a myriad of submissions from Hodge then turned the fight into a slug fest that had the Sarasota crowd in an uproar. The fight was stopped after Hodge's contact lens became lodged into his eye socket. Serkez will return on April 3 at the USF Sun Dome to face Keith McCabe. Check out the highlight reel below.
